    This privacy statement provides information about the processing and protection of your personal data.

    ADINVEST International is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. ADINVEST International collects and processes personal data in accordance with the European Union Regulation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the institutions, bodies and organs of the Union, and the free movement of such data (including the corrigendum to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC – General Data Protection Regulation).

    This privacy statement explains why we process your personal data, how we collect, process and protect any personal data provided, how this information is used and what rights you have in relation to your personal data. It also specifies the contact details of the data controller with whom you can exercise your rights and the data protection officer.

    Purpose of the processing: the ADINVEST Network platform collects and uses your personal data to build capacity, disseminate information, exchange experiences and best practices and, above all, to support business leaders and their companies in a harmonious and successful development.

    (a) Where the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (e.g. contractual relationship, whether free of charge or subject to payment).

    (b) Where the data subject has given his or her consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes (such as through voluntary registration, online purchase or use of the decision tool as mentioned above).

    (c) On the basis of a legitimate interest for inclusion in certain information lists when, for example, the person: has been met at a professional event related to ADINVEST International, is a partner or co-participant via the ADINVEST Network platform through cooperation projects (European or not) and their events; has communicated on ADINVEST International’s activity themes through other social networks such as LinkedIn…

    6. How we protect your personal data ?

    As far as possible all personal data in electronic format (e-mails, documents, databases, downloaded data sets, etc.) are stored on our servers (Internet or e-mail) hosted by AMEN (see Legal Notice).
    ADINVEST International’s contractors are bound by a specific contractual clause for any processing of your data on behalf of ADINVEST International and by the confidentiality obligations arising from the transposition of the General Data Protection Regulation in the EU Member States (Regulation RGPD (EU) 2016/679).
    In order to protect your personal data, ADINVEST International has implemented a number of technical and organizational measures. Technical measures include appropriate actions to combat online security, the risk of data loss, data modification or unauthorized access, taking into account the risk presented by the processing and the nature of the personal data processed. Organizational measures include restricting access to personal data only to authorized persons with a legitimate need to know for the purposes of such processing.

    7. What are your rights and how can you exercise them ?

    You have specific rights as a “data subject” and in particular the right to access your personal data and to rectify them in case of inaccuracy or incompleteness. If applicable, you have the right to erase your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing and the right to data portability provided that contractual relations are not impaired.

    You have consented to provide your personal data to ADINVEST International for one or more of the processing operations listed on this page. You may withdraw your consent, in accordance with the contractual relationship, at any time by informing the data controller. The withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you withdrew the consent.
    You can exercise your rights by contacting the data controller or, in case of conflict, the data protection officer. If necessary, we will inform you of the existence of a mechanism in case of dispute.     When you wish to exercise your rights in relation to one or more specific processing operations, please provide their description (i.e. their registration references and links) in your request.
